Technology FAQ

How do I require an NDA before someone sees my deck?

Turn on the terms requirement when you send. The reader accepts before the deck opens, and both sides keep a copy of what was agreed. Use your own NDA by uploading it as a PDF, or use the TRAKiQ standard one and set its term, governing-law state and signing capacity.

Will investors refuse to sign an NDA?

Many will, for a first look. Venture funds see a lot of similar companies and often decline NDAs for a pitch deck, and pushing one early can cost you the meeting. Angels, strategic investors and acquirers often accept, and most funds expect one before a data room. So share the first deck without an NDA, and use TRAKiQ for the data room and the financial model: the investor accepts your NDA, with a tick or a signature, and every page they open carries their name. Our Investor NDA template is written to be quick for an investor to accept.

Can I see which investors actually read the deck?

The dashboard shows each recipient, when they opened the deck, and every page they turned to, each with a time stamp. It records page numbers; it does not roll them up into a percentage read or a time-per-page heatmap.

Can I revoke access after a deal falls through?

Yes. Revoke the document and the link stops working for everyone, immediately.

Does TRAKiQ replace DocuSign for a small team?

For most small teams, yes. If you only ever need a signature, plenty of tools do that. If you also need to know what happened after you sent the file, that is what TRAKiQ is built for.
